About Me
Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Kelby and I am a wife and mother to two beautiful children and 2 fur babies. I have loved reading since I was a kid but it seemed like I was the only one. None of my friends liked to read as much as I did. The same holds true for adulthood....none of my friends except 1 are big readers like I am. That's where this blog comes in. I wanted a place where I could share my love of reading with everyone, and to talk about what I read with other reading fanatics like myself! So, here's to relaxing with your toes in the sand and a book in your hands!
Review Policy
I am currently accepting books for review in the form of ARC's, finished copies and ebooks that can be read on Kindle. At this time I am not accepting self published books. If you have a certain date that you would like your book reviewed by please let me know. I try my best to read and review all books in a timely manner but life does happen...LOL. I will post my honest review with no spoilers. If I happen to not like the book, I will give my reasons but will not be rude, harsh or disrespectful.
I love to read YA, mystery/thriller, historical fiction, women's fiction and adult fantasy.
When I review a book I will list the title, series number (if it's part of a series), author, publisher, date published and page count. I will write my review and include the book cover image. They will be short and sweet, not long and lengthy. I feel like when you dissect every aspect of the book it leaves nothing for the future reader, not to mention that posts like that can be boring to read. I will point out the main points as well as any feels that I may be having towards a certain character or part in the story.
My reviews will be posted here on my blog, as well as Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, NetGalley and Books-a-Million.
